Volunteer for your Veg this Monday

Weekly sessions at Wandershiell - Every Monday or Wednesday 9.30-13.30 or shorter period to suit

So much progress has been made at The Food Life Community Supported Agriculture project and we are coming up to a year since the first sewings were made.

The polytunnel has been a revelation supplying a wonderful mix of tasty delicious salad leaves and herbs. The tomatoes, courgettes, cucumbers and basil have been excellent.

Outside in the field we have amazing produce as well with the kale growing under the nets where crows and pigeons cannot access.

Pumpkins are ready and anyone who would like one is welcome to call me and arrange to uplift from now.

The salad leaves have proven popular with restaurants and quality independent shops like Natures Garden, Granny Bettie’s and Smithies.

Volunteers, growers and members have been busy with successional sewing, seed saving and weeding.

Hope to hear from you.
