Volunteering
Be a Force for Good
Our work is never done, and we can use all the help we can get. One of the ways you can take part is by Volunteering. Spread the word about all that The Food Life is doing, and help us gain the support we need.
We are a broad mix of growers, food businesses, community groups, public sector and voluntary sector, producers and eaters working together to improve the Food System.

We, the committee, work with a grower to tackle some of the leading social, environmental & financial issues facing our communities in Scotland today
The CSA aims to rebuild the connection & trust between producer & consumer. A close relationship is established and a community built around our food. The members ensure that the grower has a fair income; the grower ensures that the members have access to the land & the highest quality produce at a fair price. The food supply project will form the base on which a strong network and skills development programme can have a secure future.
The CSA will supply local households and local chefs with quality produce. There is a 28m polytunnel and 1 acre vegetable beds and we will work with an experienced grower. The grower will have support from the committee and volunteers to help with all necessary tasks.
A trainee programme will be put in place when the work capacity dictates.
